Zamwa Gallery (now officially known as the Zamwa Museum) is one of the most important and oldest cultural and artistic centers in the city of Sulaymaniyah. Established in 1995, it is recognized as the first art gallery and museum in the Kurdistan Region.rnrnHistory of the building: The location of the gallery was originally the home of the great Kurdish activist, writer, and intellectual Mamosta Ibrahim Ahmad, which has now been turned into a living museum to preserve national and cultural heritage.
